The Greater Manchester Chamber is the largest chamber in New Hampshire representing nearly 1,000 businesses. Incorporated in 1911, the Chamber today is the most active business organization in the Manchester region, focusing its efforts primarily on the ten communities of Auburn, Bedford, Candia, Derry, Goffstown, Hooksett, Litchfield, Londonderry, Manchester and Merrimack.

Yesterday, the Leadership Greater Manchester Class of 2027 participated in their first class day of the year: History Day! This day explored Manchester’s rich history and how it continues to shape our community today.

From touring the Millyard Museum and learning about the Millyard to a LEGO presentation with SEE Science Center and a bus tour of Manchester, the day connected our city’s past with the opportunities shaping its future.

A big thank to Manchester Historic Association and SEE Science Center, and all our partners who helped bring Manchester’s story to life!

Last week, LGM alumni came together for our inaugural LGM Alumni Camp Day!

It was a great day of reconnecting, meeting alumni from other classes, giving back through a service project with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester, and a little friendly field day competition.

Yesterday, the Leadership Greater Manchester Class of 2027 kicked off their journey together with an incredible opening retreat!

From team-building and leadership activities to meaningful conversations and plenty of opportunities to connect, the day was all about getting to know one another, building trust, and laying the foundation for the year ahead.

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Citizen of the Year. Since 1954, this award has recognized one outstanding individual whose leadership and service have left a lasting mark on our community. Now it's your turn to put a name forward.

On June 25, we celebrated the graduation of the Leadership Greater Manchester Class of 2026!

Over the past year, this outstanding group of leaders dedicated their time to learning, connecting, and making a meaningful impact throughout the Greater Manchester community. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to seeing how they continue to lead and make a difference.

Last week, Leadership Greater Manchester (LGM) participated in Arts & Culture Day - their final class day before graduation! 🎭

Arts & Culture Day explored how Manchester’s vibrant arts community strengthens economic vitality, enriches quality of life, and connects the creative and business sectors.

During the day, the class:
• Visited Majestic Theatre, The Palace Theatre, The Rex Theatre and Currier Museum of Art
• Learned from local artists, performers, and cultural leaders about the impact of arts on community and economic vitality
• Experienced hands-on activities in theatre, music, dance, ceramics, watercolor, and visual arts
• Left inspired by Manchester’s vibrant creative community and the role each of us can play in supporting it.

Last week, Leadership Greater Manchester (LGM) held an impactful Health & Human Services Day. Thank you to our partners at Dartmouth Health for sponsoring the day.

From exploring the role of social determinants of health to hearing directly from leaders across Manchester’s health systems, this day reinforced a powerful truth: health is shaped far beyond clinical care. Housing, food access, education, and community all play a critical role.

A highlight was connecting with organizations like the Manchester Health Department, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester, Manchester Fire Department and Families in Transition whose work brings these concepts to life every day.

As leaders, the question isn’t just what these organizations can do - it’s how we can better support them.
