In case y’all were wondering how tall these guys really are… Titan is 19HH and his rider Ofc Miano is 5’3” tall. General Stark is 16.2HH and his rider Ofc Duquette is 6’1” tall. Here we are pictured under the 8 foot clearance sign for reference! 🤩🐴💙

🐴🚔💙 POLICE WEEK 2026 💙🚔🐴

What an honor it is to represent Manchester NH Police in Washington, DC for National Police Week. Officer Miano and Officer Duquette made the drive down with Equine Officers Titan and General Stark to pay their respects to those who have lost their lives in the line of duty, and to their families.

Mounted Patrols from all over the country attended as well. The week involved specialized training, a visit to the grounds of the Battle of Manassas, the Candlelight Vigil, the Memorial Ceremony at the Capitol, and a ride through downtown for a visit to the White House. Here are some photos from the week!

What an adventure today has been.. Officer Miano and Officer Duquette began their drive to Washington, DC late last night with Equine Mounts Titan and General for . In the early morning hours, one of the tires on the horse trailer blew out on the highway. Officers pulled into a gas station to assess the situation. Titan and General were taken out of the trailer for a quick tire change when two officers from City of Beacon City of Beacon Police Department arrived and offered assistance. These officers were very professional and kind. Thank you for helping our unit! 💙🐴
