BrightLeaf NH

BrightLeaf NH BrightLeaf, Inc. maintains 'an ancient tradition of caring; a modern approach to healing.' Since 1979, we have been proud to be of service to our community.

(formerly, PCS) is an independent, non-profit, non-denominational counseling and consulting center. Our staff includes pastoral counselors, psychologists, clinical social workers, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, and substance abuse professionals. Each of our staff members is licensed by the State of New Hampshire in their specific specialty areas and the organization is a

ccredited by the Samaritan Institute of Denver, CO. Founded in 1979, as Pastoral Counseling Services, and rebranded as BrightLeaf in 2025. Our staff maintains a strong commitment to its mission to address the mental and emotional needs of the local community with compassion, acceptance and understanding. Our motto - Feel Heard. Feel Cared For. Feel Better. - offers a glimpse into the PCS perspective: we honor each person's journey, healing process and voice. And, ultimately, we hope to restore each of the people we serve to a life that is spiritually, emotionally and physically balanced.

Therapy isn’t about “having something wrong.”
It’s about learning tools, gaining clarity, and building resilience.
Just like we visit a doctor for physical health, our minds deserve care too.
If you’ve been thinking about starting therapy, this could be your sign.

We have scheduled our 2026 Annual Appeal in May to correspond with Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental Health Awareness month was designated in 1949 with the aim to spread awareness about mental illness, reduce stigma, increase support for individuals living with mental illness, and to promote the importance of emotional wellbeing. The money raised from this year’s annual appeal will go towards our Helping Hands fund, which supports clients to access mental health treatment in hardship.

BrightLeaf’s Helping Hands fund has helped provide financial assistance to clients who might otherwise have had to terminate treatment due to an unexpected loss of health insurance, as well as to supplement high deductible and co-payment costs. This fund has played an essential role in helping clients continue to access treatment during financial difficulty.

BrightLeaf continues to be committed to providing effective, compassionate mental health services to the children, adolescents, young adults, families, middle-aged adults, and seniors that we serve. We are also committed to removing barriers to counseling that exist in our communities. Your financial gift will help us to continue to make life-changing counseling more accessible to clients who are facing hardship.

Today, we honor the many forms of motherhood, the nurturing, the strength, the patience, and the love that shows up in countless ways every single day.

To all mothers in our community: we see you. Whether you are raising children, supporting loved ones, grieving, healing, or holding space for others while carrying your own journey; you are valued and appreciated.

A special recognition goes to the incredible mothers on our team. You balance care at home and compassion in your work, showing up for others with empathy, resilience, and heart. Your dedication makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Motherhood is not one story, it’s many. Today, we celebrate them all!

Happy Mother’s Day 💐
