BrightLeaf NH BrightLeaf, Inc. maintains 'an ancient tradition of caring; a modern approach to healing.' Since 1979, we have been proud to be of service to our community.

(formerly, PCS) is an independent, non-profit, non-denominational counseling and consulting center. Our staff includes pastoral counselors, psychologists, clinical social workers, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, and substance abuse professionals. Each of our staff members is licensed by the State of New Hampshire in their specific specialty areas and the organization is accredited by the Samaritan Institute of Denver, CO. Founded in 1979, as Pastoral Counseling Services, and rebranded as BrightLeaf in 2025. Our staff maintains a strong commitment to its mission to address the mental and emotional needs of the local community with compassion, acceptance and understanding. Our motto - Feel Heard. Feel Cared For. Feel Better. - offers a glimpse into the PCS perspective: we honor each person's journey, healing process and voice. And, ultimately, we hope to restore each of the people we serve to a life that is spiritually, emotionally and physically balanced.

We are thrilled to introduce Sophia Armstrong, who is joining us as a Clinical Intern Therapist! Sophia brings a passion for working with clients navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, and spiritual processing, and has officially opened her books to take on new clients!

Karen works at NH Housing in Bedford, where she helps individuals and young adults access important housing resources, including Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers and Foster Youth Independence vouchers.
