🌟 Independent Living Grant Opportunity for Former Webster House Residents 🌟

Taking the next step toward independence can come with some big expenses, and you don’t have to navigate those steps alone. ❤️

Webster House is proud to offer Independent Living Grants of up to $2,500 to eligible current or aftercare cases, including former residents up to age 25, to help support important milestones such as:

🚗 Driver’s Education
🚙 Down Payment Toward a Vehicle
🩺 LNA or EMT Certification
🎓 College Support, including books, computers, or other educational needs
🏠 First Apartment Support

Grant funding is considered based on individual need, previous support received, and available funding. Awards may vary, and not every request will qualify for the maximum amount.

There’s school, friendships, first jobs, new responsibilities, and the big question of what comes next. Figuring it all out takes time, and every young person deserves the chance to learn as they go. 🎒

With the right guidance and encouragement, young people can build confidence, discover what they’re capable of, and take steps toward independence. Growing up is about finding your way and preparing for what comes next. 🌱💙

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we’re reminded that support isn’t always about having the right words. Sometimes, it’s noticing when a young person is having a hard day, listening, and reminding them they don’t have to face it alone. 💙🫂

🚗✨ Meet Lynn! ✨🚗

Lynn is a former Webster House resident who we had the privilege of supporting through a $2,500 Independent Living Grant toward the purchase of her first vehicle a 2021 Nissan Altima!

We are incredibly proud of Lynn for working hard, maintaining positive credit, and taking this exciting step toward greater independence. Purchasing your first vehicle is a major milestone, and we’re honored to have played a small part in helping her reach this goal. ❤️

A special thank-you to our generous grantor for making opportunities like this possible for young adults as they transition into independent adulthood. Your support helps turn important goals into real opportunities!

This tradition is especially meaningful because Patrick donates the lights in honor of his mother, who lived at Webster House as a child. We’re so grateful to Patrick and the entire Lights Up team for brightening our community year after year. 💙

A few weeks ago, we had such a great day at Friendly Farm! The kids got to spend time outside, meet some adorable baby farm animals, and even help feed them. 🐑🐥

There were plenty of smiles, lots of curiosity, and a few new animal friends along the way. It was a simple day, but definitely one to remember! 💙
