New England Santa Society is an independent, nonprofit association of members from all six New England states. Our purpose is to bring together those who portray Santa, Mrs. Claus, Elf and other holiday characters for sharing, socializing, learning, networking, and service. The organization holds meetings and activities regularly throughout the region for the benefit, edification, enjoyment, and s

ocialization of the members and guests. NESS also sponsors the New England Santa Academy, a school for Santas by Santas. Full voting membership is open to any Santa, real bearded or not, Mrs. Claus, elf, reindeer handler, helper, and other holiday performer from the six New England states and immediate vicinity. Associate non-voting membership is open to anyone. New England Santa Society is an official chapter of the International Brotherhood of Real Bearded Santas. The organization cooperates with and fosters Santa events and holiday activities organized by other groups and individuals in the region when possible.

Hello ho ho everyone!

Thank you for making the 11th Annual Santa Camp, sponsored by the New England Santa Society, the BEST YET! Each and every one of you contributed something very special to the weekend. Whether it was your first Camp or you have joined us many times over the years, Camp is for YOU.

A survey will be coming out within the next week. Please complete it and share your feedback, thoughts, comments, complaints (yes, please let us know), and anything that crosses your mind that you loved about Camp. Our goal - making Santa Camp the school for holiday performers where you can be proud to say you attended and you can share your great experiences with others.

I personally want to thank all the Santa Camp staff who volunteer their time and experience to make Santa Camp so special. For most on the committee, it’s a year-long commitment of planning, program development, and implementation.

None of the instructors or staff are paid for their efforts. In fact, they pay to come too. They do receive a discounted fee but still cover the cost for lodging, meals and supplies.

This is one thing that separates Santa Camp from most other schools which are operated by individuals or a small group for profit. Profits made from Santa Camp go directly into NESS treasury to support all our other activities.

Thanks to all at Santa Camp for your support, contributions, and Claus spirit.
