LOCAL AUDITIONS: FIDDLER ON THE ROOF

The Palace Theatre is looking for local performers ages 8 and up to join the cast of Fiddler on the Roof, part of our 2026–2027 St. Mary’s Bank Performing Arts Series!

AUDITIONS: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19
Singer Center for the Arts
77 Amherst St., Manchester, NH

AGES 8–14 | 4:00–5:30 PM
Performers will learn a short movement/dance combination followed by a vocal audition. Please prepare approximately 30 seconds of a song that shows off your voice. Youth performers will sing a ca****la.

AGES 15+ | 5:30–7:00 PM
Please prepare 16–32 bars of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided, so please bring sheet music. Some performers may also be asked to dance.

REHEARSALS: October 9–22
Typical rehearsal hours are 1–9 PM. We can be flexible for performers currently in school, and school-day scheduling will not be considered a conflict.

PERFORMANCES: October 23–November 15, 2026
Fridays at 7:30 PM • Saturdays at 2 & 7:30 PM • Sundays at 2 PM
Plus Thursday, November 12 at 7:30 PM.

Youth performers must be available for at least one full performance weekend. Adult performers must be available for all performances.

We are thrilled to announce Alyssa Bernazzani as our Student of the Month! As a proud member ofour Palace Teen Apprentice Company (PTAC), Alyssa brings an infectious energy, boundless joy, and genuine heart to eyery thing she does at the theatre, This past summer, she truly went above and beyond not only serving as a fantastic Junior Counselor for our summer camps, but constantly returning to volunteer extra hours just to keep supporting our campers and staff because of her pure love for the community.
Whether she is delivering an amazing performance on stage or being the biggest, most encouraging cheerleader in the audience, Alyssa’s presence makes a difference, Over the past year, she has stepped out of her shell in the best way possible, combining a bright sense of humor that keeps everyone smiling with an inspiring, focused drive as she launches into this new season. Auditions for Matilda The Musical JR
will be on Friday, September 18th at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, & 8pm.
Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to fill out paperwork.
Rehearsals will generally be on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
at Forever Emma Studios.
Performances will be October 27th & 28th at 7pm,
with a school matinee performance at 10am on October 28th.
Expect to stay for your entire one-hour audition slot. You will learn a dance and be asked to sing after. Come prepared to sing a short section of a song of your choice (musical theatre or Disney preferred).
You will be singing a ca****la (without music).
Auditions are for performers in Grades 2-12.
If cast, there is a production fee of $150.
