Lights, camera, action! 🎬

Join us for the 2026 New Hampshire High School Short Film Festival! We are so excited to celebrate the creativity, vision, and storytelling of student filmmakers from across the state.

From powerful documentaries to imaginative shorts, come see the world through the eyes of the next generation of creators.

This event is on Sunday, May 17th. Doors open at 11am so you can grab lunch with screening and awards to follow at noon. Admission is free.

Did you know our Youth Media Squad is open to high school students from anywhere in the country? Monthly meetings are virtual, which means our youth leaders can share their perspectives on media and technology from wherever they are.

This is a great opportunity for high school students to shape the design of new youth programs and discuss topics ranging from social media and AI to mental health. The application deadline is approaching fast - don’t forget to get your materials in by May 3rd!

Do you know a student who’d be a perfect fit for our Youth Media Squad, but are unsure whether their schedule can handle another commitment? 🕒 We want to make it easy for students to make an impact. Here’s what we ask of participants:

>> Join in a monthly Zoom discussion on the 2nd Monday of each month 👨‍💻👩‍💻
>> Provide feedback on program ideas and/or resources for youth 💡
>> Contribute content and/or speak as a guest during one of our youth programs occasionally throughout the year 💬

Applications are now open to join our 2026-27 Youth Media Squad!

We are seeking high school students who want to make a real-world impact and help shape Media Power Youth’s programming by sharing their opinions and perspectives on media as well as how best to support youth in the changing digital landscape.

As a member of this team, you’ll meet new people, build your leadership skills, explore trends in media and tech, and even discover potential career fields. We meet virtually, which allows for more flexibility in your schedule as well as the opportunity to work with high schoolers from across the country.
