🐾 Best Friend Still Wanted! 🐾

Hi, I’m Mila, and I’m A-doable! 💕

Here are a few fun facts about me:

🐶 I LOVE small humans and dogs!
🐾 I’m about 8 months old.
💕 I’m spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
🏃‍♀️ I’m an active girl who loves to have fun, so a doggie sibling is a must! I’ll need lots of exercise, playtime, and adventures with my forever family.

Now, there is one little thing I should tell you…

I’m not a fan of those other small creatures… you know, cats? 😹 I love to chase after them because I’m convinced they want to play, but apparently they don’t share my enthusiasm. So, for everyone’s happiness, I need a cat-free home.

Until my friends at Tailgait find my forever family, I’ll keep smiling, playing, and being the very best girl in my foster mom’s house. 🥰

There’s a little extra magic in the air this time of year, and today, Hope, Tot Tot, Dante, and Maple each found their very own happily-ever-after. 🧡

From crisp autumn leaves 🍂 to cozy snuggles 🥰, these four lucky pups are heading into the season surrounded by the love they’ve always deserved.

They didn’t just fall into the arms of their loving families today… they fell RIGHT INTO FOREVER! 🏡🐶🍁

Stop scrolling… because this adorable 2½-month-old little guy is ready to steal your heart! 🥹🐶

Tot Tot is the perfect combination of sweet, silly, soft, and snuggly. And can we talk about that ONE GORGEOUS BLUE EYE?! 💙😍 It’s almost impossible to look into those puppy eyes without falling completely in love!

This little guy is soft as a warm velvet blanket, cuddly as can be, and has that irresistible puppy face that makes you want to scoop him up and never put him down. 🥰

But remember… Tot Tot is ALL PUPPY! 🐾 That means his forever family should be ready for the full puppy experience — zoomies, playtime, puppy kisses, curious little adventures, learning, chewing, tail wags, and probably a few “what did you just get into?” moments along the way! 😂

Mila: Sweet, Spotted & On Official Cat Watch

Hi! I'm Mila, and before we get started, let's address the obvious: yes, I am adorable. The spots, the smile, the head tilts... I know. It's a lot.

Speaking of head tilts, they're kind of my specialty. When you talk to me, I'll tilt my head from side to side like I'm carefully considering every word. Am I actually understanding you? Maybe. Am I wondering if we're about to go for a walk? Definitely.

I'm 8 months old, about 37 pounds, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all my shots. I'm dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and people-friendly. Honestly, I think most strangers are just friends I haven't met yet. I absolutely love kids and am always happy to be included in whatever fun they're having.

I'm an active girl who enjoys walks, playtime, exploring, and spending time with my family. I don't need to climb mountains every day to be happy. Give me some exercise, a little adventure, and plenty of love, and I'll happily spend the rest of the day curled up beside you.

I'd also love a doggie sibling! I may not love cats, but I LOVE the company of other dogs. Having a canine buddy to play with, wrestle with, zoom around the yard with, and relax beside sounds pretty perfect to me.

Now, there is one thing you should know about me.

Cats.

I don't dislike them. I just think they should be moving faster.

If you're tired of neighborhood cats casually strolling through your yard like they pay the mortgage, I would be honored to volunteer for patrol duty. The moment a cat appears, I am ready to investigate. Thoroughly. Enthusiastically. Immediately.

Have I ever caught one? No.

Do I still believe today's the day? Also no.

But that doesn't stop me from trying.

For this reason, I'd do best in a home without cats. I think it's important that cats continue living their lives, and it's equally important that I continue treating every cat sighting like a major sporting event.

When I'm not conducting feline surveillance, I'm a total sweetheart. I love being with my people, making new friends, showing off my goofy personality, and soaking up all the affection I can get. I'll greet you with full-body wiggles, make you laugh with my silly antics, and happily curl up beside you after a day of adventures.

Basically, I'm the whole package: cute, playful, affectionate, funny, great with kids, loves other dogs, and always ready to brighten your day.

Tailgait didn’t let a little Nor’easter stop the downpour of love for these four lucky pups! 🐾❤️

Eddie — the sweetest guy with the gentlest heart — found his new best friend today! He’s off to agility classes, lots of playtime, and a lifetime of love. We couldn’t be happier for this special boy!

Rucker — this gentleman found his very own family, complete with big and little humans (the little ones aren’t pictured 😉). Rucker truly was one of a kind, and we know he’s going to be so loved!

Sola — the tiniest gal with the biggest heart and the fastest tail wag around — won her new dad over the second he saw her. We aren’t sure who loved who more! 💕 Either way, it was clearly meant to be.

And last but certainly not least, Sheva! This gal is off to spend her days with her new family and her doggie sibling, Luna — another Tailgait pup! Sheva just might be the most laid-back pup we’ve met to date, and we know she’s going to fit right in.

Do you know what's remarkable about Hope?

After everything she's been through in her short life, she has every reason not to trust people. Yet somehow, she remains one of the sweetest, happiest, and most loving little dogs you'll ever meet.

Hope was once someone's pet. Someone's best friend. Someone's family.

Then one day, a supermarket employee heard nonstop scratching and barking coming from a closed dumpster behind the store. Inside was a frightened little dog who had been thrown away like trash.

We can't imagine how scared and confused she must have been. Trapped inside that dumpster, surrounded by darkness and strange sounds, waiting for the people she loved to come back for her. Waiting for the family she trusted. Waiting for someone to realize she was missing.

But no one came.

And here's the incredible part.

When employees finally opened the dumpster, Hope didn't growl. She didn't snap. She didn't react out of fear or anger. Instead, she wagged her tail, stopped barking, and patiently waited to be lifted out.

Despite everything that had happened to her, Hope chose trust.

She looked at complete strangers and believed they were there to help her. She believed they would be kind. She believed they would save her.

She hoped.

That hope eventually led her to our wonderful rescue partners, and the moment we met her, we knew she was special.

Since coming into rescue, Hope has shown us every day just how resilient dogs truly are. She loves being around people, enjoys making new friends, and greets the world with a gentle, happy spirit that is impossible not to fall in love with. There isn't a bitter bone in her tiny body. Instead of carrying the weight of her past, Hope wakes up each day ready to love and be loved.

She is a beautiful reminder of something dogs do better than humans sometimes. No matter how many times they are let down, they keep giving their hearts away. They keep believing in us. They keep choosing love, loyalty, forgiveness, and hope.

And that's exactly how she got her name.

Hope is around 2 years old, a mixed-breed sweetheart weighing just 24 pounds. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, family-friendly, dog-friendly, and ready to find the forever home she's always deserved. This little girl has so much love to give and is looking for a family who will cherish her for the rest of her life. ❤️🐾

This little girl has already survived being abandoned by the people she trusted most. Now all she wants is a family who will never let her down again.
