Friendly reminder of our February meeting tomorrow at Haumea Yoga & Fitness 10:30-12. Below is some info on logistics:

- Haumea’s new address is 100 E Main St in Sun Prairie

- visitors can park in the lot behind Haumea. Wagner’s Tavern Parking is open to Haumea guests till 2 pm. This link takes you to a map of some other free parking in downtown Sun Prairie https://cityofsunprairie.com/DocumentCenter/View/9265/Downtown-Parking-Map-PDF?bidId=

- our meeting will be upstairs this month but you are welcome to use the downstairs area for a quiet moment or to leave items like strollers or wagons.

- our meetings start at 10:30 but we have the space reserved starting at 10 am so you are welcome to come a bit early, start settling in, and socialize with some other caregivers in the area

Once we work out the kinks in this new system, we'll look into expanding to add new members and have more carrier pick up events. Thanks!

As part of our International Babywearing Week celebration, we're holding a membership drive, with a chance to win a brand new ring sling! Every new membership, gift membership, or membership renewal purchased will be entered to win! How can you participate and be entered to win?

* BECOME A NEW MEMBER - Join Madison Babywearing and take advantage of our great member benefits. You can join at either of our October meetings or online.

* RENEW A CURRENT MEMBERSHIP - Already a member? Renew your current membership for another year. We'll extend your expiration date by one year, so even if your membership doesn't expire until Feb 2020, renewing it now would extend your membership to Feb 2021.

* GIVE A GIFT MEMBERSHIP - Do you know someone who would love babywearing and could benefit from a Madison Babywearing membership? Give a membership as a gift! We'll give you a gift certificate that you can present (or email) to the lucky recipient!

* GIVE A SCHOLARSHIP MEMBERSHIP - Don't know anyone who needs a membership, but want to share the love of babywearing (and get entered for the prize)? Purchase a gift membership, designate it as "Scholarship" in the Recipient field, and we'll donate it to a family in need through one of our community partners.

If you're in the market for a carrier, there are over 65 for sale this weekend at Half-Pint Resale!! We counted as we organized tonight, so here's the rundown: 31 SSCs (mostly Ergos, a couple Becos, and a Tula), 9 narrow based carriers, 5 frame packs, 19 stretchy wraps, 1 woven wrap, 6 ring slings, 3 pouch slings, 11 K’tans, 2 meh dais, and an assortment of accessories (infant inserts, suck pads, hoodie). There's a range of styles and prices, so you might find something of interest. Madison Babywearing will be there on Friday and Saturday during the sale to answer your questions, so stop by to say hello! You might just find an amazing !

Hi all! We have a meeting today at the Fitchburg library, starting at 10:30. Due to a variety of unforeseen issues for our volunteers, we will have limited staffing at our meeting, and we will need to end the meeting early, at 11:30. Check outs will begin early in the meeting. Thanks for understanding!

As we near the end of the year, we have so much to be thankful for and to celebrate. We’re proud to unveil our new logo and website. We are incredibly thankful that despite the hardship BWI and other babywearing groups have faced this year, our babywearing community continues to thrive.

We’re thankful for your patience and support through this transition, and we’re so happy to see your enthusiastic participation continue online and at our meetings.

We’re so thankful for the generous carrier library donation we received, which has allowed us to offer so many exciting new options at our meetings and share our abundance with our community partners.

We’re also incredibly grateful for the amazing volunteers - past and present - who built this community and continue to further our mission.

But most of all, during this season of celebration and reflection, we are thankful to be able to continue serving our community through education and outreach as Madison Babywearing!

Madison Babywearing holds one weekday and one weekend meeting per month, along with additional outreach events and smaller workshops.
