Good Morning, Everyone! We want to provide some updates on the upcoming UW Ethics of Care Conference — "Relations of Care Across and After Worlds”. We hope that you will consider joining us (virtually) May 13 and 14, 2021.
This event grows from a 2 year Borghesi-Mellon Workshop through the Center for Humanities on Ethics of Care. We hope this conference holds an opportunity to think together in engaged ways about issues at the very heart of this moment. COVID-19, police violence, ever widening economic disparities, political polarization, unpaid care labor, sexual violence, challenges to wellness, environmental destruction, settler colonialism, and empire name only a few of the converging crises facing local communities, nation states, and transnational spaces.
