HopeWell Cancer Support HopeWell is a community of people at every stage of cancer and those who love them.

Since 1993, our work at HopeWell Cancer Support has been based on the premise that people affected by cancer need more than just medical care. HopeWell’s programs are specifically designed to complement the medical system by helping people with cancer, and their loved ones, cope with the life-changing impact of a cancer diagnosis. At HopeWell, we recognize that an emotional response to cancer is normal and that being surrounded by people who understand is part of the healing process. HopeWell offers a broad range of programs and activities, including support groups, educational seminars, exercise classes and social activities, that allow people to access a community of support that is unmatched in the Baltimore metropolitan area. All of HopeWell’s programs are offered free of charge and are open to people at any stage of their journey through cancer.

Please join us for a special event, hosted by Aluma Yoga and LifeMed Institute. The event, “Menopause, Hormones & Longevity, An Evening That Gives Back,” is being held on behalf of HopeWell, and will take place on October 20, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at LifeMed Institute. Tickets are $25 and include:

• Raffle featuring prizes donated by businesses throughout our local community, giving you even more ways to support HopeWell while taking home something special

• Aluma + LifeMed Swag Bag

• LifeMed Voucher for a Complementary IV

• A FREE copy of Eric’s book, The Menopausal Marine

• W**e + Small Bites

The place to be yesterday was at Bounce Pickleball in Pikesville, where over 100 people participated in the 5th Annual Pickleball for Hope. This event was planned and organized by Lynne Colburn, Mary Holmead, and Paula Silverman, as a wonderful fundraiser for HopeWell.

There was such positive energy in the air as attendees participated in open play or competitive play, purchased raffle tickets, bid on silent auction items, and posed for this great photo.

We are thankful to our Title Sponsor, the Ford Wealth Management Advisors team at RBC Wealth Management in Hunt Valley. We are also grateful to our other event sponsors Gerry Hartung and Julie Buckner. We also want to thank the numerous tee-shirt sponsors, hat sponsors, silent auction donors, Bounce Pickleball, and everyone who made generous donations to this event.
