Close to 40 four year-olds called to post by a live trumpeter before racing around the playground on handmade ponies wearing authentic jockey silks, generously donated by The Maryland Jockey Club … It must be Pre-K Preakness Day at Good Shepherd School!! 🏇🏼🏇🏼🏇🏼 What a wonderful day at the races!!

3, 2, 1 … BLAST OFF! 🚀 It was an exciting day at GSS as our Young Explorers Pre-K Club culminated their space study with launch of the special rocket they worked together to plan and construct! The astronauts donned their handmade space suits and helmets as they paraded to the launch pad and led spectators in a countdown to launch!

Oh what a night! The Good Shepherd School community gathered together at L’Hirondelle Club last night for our 28th Annual Spring Auction Fundraiser! It was a wonderful evening with fabulous entertainment, delicious food, and an amazing assortment of desirable auction items!

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to our Parents’ Association and especially to the Auction Committee members who volunteered countless hours to make this event such a tremendous success!

We are blessed with an amazingly generous and supportive community and we are filled with gratitude for all of you and all that you do for our school. 🩵

Happy Easter from Good Shepherd School! 🐰🌷🩵 Our week was full of hippity-hoppity fun with Easter egg hunts, class parties, and creative holiday projects!

As a reminder, Easter Sunday Services will be held at 8am and 10am at Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Baltimore. An Easter Egg Hunt - with the Easter Bunny! - will follow the 10am service!

Many thanks to our friends at Magic and More, Inc for such a entertaining Bubble Show this morning! What a fun way to kick off Spring Break!

As a reminder, Good Shepherd School will be closed for Spring Break from March 16-20th. We look forward to welcoming our friends back to campus on Monday, March 23rd. 🌺

It can be said that Good Shepherd School is blessed with the best - and that was truly evident this morning when we arrived to school to find that an amazing team of dedicated dads had banded together this past weekend to dig out our playground so our students could get back outside to play! We know this was not an easy task and we thank you all so much! ⛄️❄️🩵
