Launched in 2012, Everyone Matters advocates for everyone's right to be who they are, without shame, judgment or attack, to be treated with dignity and respect, and to thrive in their own unique individuality. A year-round program in schools and communities is highlighted by a milestone day, "Everyone Matters Day," in the spring where more than 50 Mayors and 150 schools around the world have parti
cipated annually. Everyone Matters is a project of the What’s Your Issue Foundation, whose previous project was the Film Your Issue initiative - a youth civic engagement initiative - with partners like Microsoft, YouTube, Sony, Google, MySpace, AOL, Yahoo!, the United Nations, USA TODAY, Associated Press, American Red Cross, The Walt Disney Company, Universal Studios, and other partners. Our roster of illustrious past leaders who have been involved in our initiatives includes Senator Barack Obama, George Clooney, Tom Brokaw, Walter Cronkite, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Jack Black, Anderson Cooper, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ellen Burstyn, Judy Woodruff, Kirk Douglas, and others.
