If you haven't been by yet to meet this silly kid...what the heck are you waiting for? Rio Hondo is a sweet, soft, adventurous young kid who is sure to charm you. Rio will celebrate his first birthday in August, and even though he's still got a lot of life ahead of him, he's got lot of stories to share with you.

Found on a warm day out in the San Gabriel Valley all by his lonesome, a very kind human scooped him up and brought him to safety. Rio joined us at the rescue and now he's navigating life with a bunch of kitty friends. Rio loves crunchy treats and catnip, he's a bit fan of the rainbow wands, and isn't hesitant to step out of his condo and mix and mingle.

Rio would love to go home to a family with a friendly kitty already in residence, because having a pal to play with is always a plus. Come on over this weekend and have a chat with Rio.

NKOTB: MEET HERBIE HANCOCK!
We’re not quite sure how such a handsome boy could be out wandering all by his lonesome, but we’re grateful that a very kind hearted human helped him, and now he’s part of our Sante D'Or family.

Herbie was born in the early spring of 2024, and we already know how much he loves his treats, how much he loves to play and all the funny faces he can make. While he was out on the streets, he injured his paw but he’s recovered beautifully and he’s back to being his full Herbie self.

Herbie is currently living with one of our wonderful fosters. If you’d like to know more about him, please drop us a line at [email protected].

We’re certain he’s going to find his forever person, and we’re grateful to be a part of that journey.

Needing some kitten snuggles??? Never you fear, we have got a solid lineup for you tomorrow. First up, we have the dynamic trio of brothers Poleaxe, Trebuchet and Warhammer - three months old and ready to take on the world.

Next, we have the delightful brother sister duo of Basil Paul Harrington and his sister Saffron. These cuties are just about four months old and are well on their way to signing with a top meowdeling agency.

Rounding out the perfect smattering of kittens, we have the cookie kids, including sisters Samoa and Raspberry Rally and brothers Peanut Butter Patty and Do-Si-Do. These are our youngest kids, just about two months old. And already complete and total entertainers.

So, this leaves you with no excuses. Tomorrow, get out of your PJs, put on your shoes come on over. Trust us, you will not regret your decision.

I’m sure you already know, but as a reminder today is national hug your cat day. Here at Sante D’Or, every day is national hug your cat day. Need somebody to hug and love, please consider our sweet gentleman Ziggiliano. Ziggi to his friends, this perfect more mature guy wants nothing more than to be loved.

In between sunshine naps and belly rubs, he loves to slowly saunter around and take in the sights. His movements are slow and purposeful, and he just wants to be everyone’s buddy.

You may find him in one of the various kitty beds we have scattered across benches and counters, or you may find him on one of his daily walks, observing everyone and listening to everyone so he can find the perfect lap to approach.

If you have a quiet home, where time is plentiful and love is abundant, please consider this gorgeous kitty boy. You can come and visit him this weekend. As a reminder, we will be open Saturday and Sunday between noon and five, but will be closed tomorrow.
