What a beautiful weekend of unity, culture, and community. ❤️ Through From the Barrio With Love, families came together to share smiles, resources, traditions, and hope, reminding us that when a community stands united in love, everyone feels seen and supported. At Al Barro Foundation, we are honored to be part of moments like these—where neighbors become family, children create lasting memories, and kindness is passed from one heart to another. On June 2nd, Al Barro Foundation partnered with Proyecto Pastoral at Pico Gardens Park to provide food and essential resources to local families. Every bag distributed represents more than groceries—it represents care, dignity, and the reminder that no one should face difficult times alone.

A huge thank you to our volunteers and community partners who continue to make these moments possible. Together, we are building stronger and healthier communities, one family at a time. ❤️

El 2 de junio, la Fundación Al Barro se unió a Proyecto Pastoral en Pico Gardens Park para brindar alimentos y recursos esenciales a las familias de la comunidad. Cada bolsa entregada representa más que comida; representa apoyo, dignidad y el recordatorio de que nadie debe enfrentar tiempos difíciles solo.

Bringing hope and support to communities that are often forgotten.

This time, Al Barro Foundation had the privilege of serving more than 150 families in the communities of La Tronquera, Santa Rita, Uhry, Clark, and Wasla, Nicaragua. Wasla is known as the community where the Miskito King once lived, carrying a rich history and cultural heritage.

Every family we meet reminds us why this work matters. Through every distribution, every conversation, and every helping hand, we continue building stronger communities together.

Thank you to everyone who makes these efforts possible. 💙

🌎❤️ Llevando esperanza y apoyo a comunidades que muchas veces son olvidadas.

En esta ocasión, la Fundación Al Barro tuvo el privilegio de servir a más de 150 familias en las comunidades de La Tronquera, Santa Rita, Uhry, Clark y Wasla, Nicaragua. Wasla es reconocida por ser la comunidad donde vivió el Rey Miskito, un lugar lleno de historia y riqueza cultural.

Cada familia que conocemos nos recuerda por qué hacemos este trabajo. A través de cada entrega, cada conversación y cada mano amiga, seguimos construyendo comunidades más fuertes y unidas.
