On Oct 9th, Valerie will be teaching two Master Classes with Balleteatro's 3rd-year contemporary dance interpreter students.

Valerie's Dance Your Frame class includes a series of floor exercises, standing center work, and across the floor movement combinations that incorporate the use of turns, jumps, working in and out of the floor, detailed gestures, and diverse dynamics.

Informing this class is Valerie's certified background in BodyMind Fitness. Exercises are guided with the safe use of body mechanics and neuromuscular imagery, highlighting movement that follows the logic of the body's innate spirals and bone rhythms.

Looking back to September 2025, to the Community Dance Project performance of "And You, Who Do You Bring?" was a transdisciplinary laboratory-performance combining theater, dance, and music. This project was a unique experience of collective creation, and expression. Flash Back Friday to September 2016, "Impermanent Landscape" at Flux Factory.

An evening length performance in the round inspired by the ideas of cubism, perspective, perception, and impermanence. Breaking the 4th wall and moving choreography outside of the traditional stage and audience formats, Impermanent Landscape featured the geometry and architecture of overlapping bodies, creating its own personal landscape. Performed in over 10 venues across NYC.
