Join DemoChicks on August 15, as we host our 7th annual Breaking Barriers Awards and Scholarship Gala, and meet Diana Limon to learn more about her story. She began her path into the electrical apprenticeship in 1995 after realizing a traditional college track was not delivering the career stability and earnings she wanted. She explains why the building trades remain “education’s best kept secret” for many young people and why visibility and outreach are now improving access.

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by the DemoChicks booth! 🏛️👷‍♀️ Our amazing volunteers loved connecting with the community, sharing our passion for science, and highlighting the endless opportunities for women in nontraditional careers.

What an incredible day! On May 30th, we hosted our DemoChicks STEM Signing Day, and we are still buzzing from the energy! ✨

Just like star athletes, these brilliant young women signed their official commitments to futures in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. 🚀👷‍♀️👩‍💻
