Steel Magnolias, a nonprofit all-volunteer organization, raises funds to benefit special-needs children with developmental delays, behavioral and learning challenges and other special needs. Its main recipient is the Stramski Children’s Developmental Center at Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach. FEDERAL TAX ID #32-0355983 501(c)(3) Nonprofit
With the Steel Magnolias support the Stramski Children’s Development Center at Miller Children’s and Women's Hospital Long Beach, is able to care for children with behavioral and developmental conditions, such as autism, Fragile X, ADHD/ADD, Down Syndrome, learning disabilities.

Summer camp isn’t just a fun childhood tradition — it’s a place where kids discover confidence, independence, and joy. But for many families, it’s not only financial hardship that keeps their child from attending.

Some kids need extra support because of developmental delays, sensory needs, behavioral challenges, or stressful circumstances at home. Others thrive with patient mentors, structured routines, and environments designed to help them feel safe and included — things camp can uniquely provide.

This Long Beach Gives- your donation helps us opens the door for children of the Stramski Children's Developmental Center who might otherwise miss out.

Three teams, one mission. But multiple winners! We know who the true champions of Long Beach Gives are... It's the patients of the Stramski Children's Development Center. They are the true winners of this competition! Every day the patients and their families face challenges many of us cannot understand. But we what do all understand is kindness, compassion and love for others.
We are proud of the Steel Magnolias Members, Board Members and Magnolia Blooms. Thank you for being supporters of our LBG campaign and supporters of those in need.
