We’re excited to launch CORCDC Presents, a new spotlight series offering a behind-the-scenes look at the heart of our Resident Services programming. From vibrant community events and wellness workshops to strategic partnerships and resident-led initiatives — this is your sneak peek into the work we do, the people we serve, and the stories that drive us.

This week, we’re throwing it back to our Northpointe fresh vegetable distribution, where one of our amazing residents, Ms. Peters picked up a bag full of farm-fresh produce. Moments like these are a reminder that access to healthy food is a pillar of strong communities.

This past month, Northpointe was buzzing with creativity thanks to the Eco-Fashion Camp hosted by Long Beach Unity Festival (LBUF)!

Youth from our community explored sustainability through style — turning everyday items into bold, expressive fashion pieces while learning about modeling and other areas of fashion!

At COR CDC, we’re proud to support LBUF’s continued work with Northpointe youth. Their vision aligns with ours: empowering young people to lead, create, and care for the world around them.

Big shoutout to the designers, team, volunteers, and brilliant young minds who made this camp a success. The future is bright — and sustainable!
