Their courage, compassion, and unwavering commitment to others embody the very best of Douglas County.

At the Douglas County Community Foundation, we believe that strong communities are built by extraordinary people. Today, we celebrate those who answer the call, put others before themselves, and make a lasting difference in the lives of our neighbors.

Fund holders in action!

Our new Pathway to Hope Fund has been hard at work hosting fundraisers and spreading the word about their mission “Jumping the hurdles of affordability in mental healthcare, empowering those in need, and breaking the barriers of stigma via community involvement.”

🎓 Back to school!

We were on campus today to discuss partnership opportunities between schools and Douglas County. We are honored to be considered a thought partner on a few upcoming projects directly affecting our Douglas County residents. More to come!

DCCF loves to be out an about in our community! We had a great time at Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce ‘s Unwind Nonprofit event last night. A little rain didn’t keep the nonprofits or members away! Next up we will be back at CALF for their Harvest Fest.

✨ The Human Effect Can Never Be Replaced. ✨

What an incredible evening at our Heroes Gala! Together, our community raised more than $315,000 to support local nonprofits, inspire philanthropy, and strengthen Douglas County.

This year, we celebrated the people who embody courage, service, leadership, and generosity — including our 2026 Heroes John Sieber, Dave Weaver, and the Douglas County Helitack Team. We were also honored to present the Helitack Team with a $10,000 grant in recognition of their service to our community.

Thank you to every donor, sponsor, guest, and community hero who made this night possible. Together, we’re creating a lasting legacy of impact in Douglas County.🇺🇸
