Our Story

Presented by Charles Schwab and hosted by Colorado Veterans Project. The Freedom 4 Miler (the ridiculously patriotic run!) is fun American way to show your support of local Veterans during 4th of July weekend!

Formally the Lone Tree Freedom Race, this event grew from the creative geniuses at Charles Schwab’s Military Veterans Network. Their patriotism and desire to give back to the community resulted in $18,000 being donated to local Veteran nonprofit organizations in 2017. Now, Colorado Veterans Project has taken on the planning and logistics in order to continue the growth and impactfulness that this event provides.
