Secretary of State Cynthia Coffman and member's of the FBI and Homeland Security were honored for their work to combat human trafficking. Polly Lawrence (Douglas County/Roxborough Representative) talks about legislation to be introduced this year in the legislature. The Colorado legislature has made tremendous strides in the past five years to toughen human trafficking legislation in our State.

Colorado Human Trafficking Awareness Day was Thursday. This exhibit from iEmphathize demonstrates that all of us can be part of the solution. A truck driver reported something he thought was suspicious which resulted in the release of a young girl from sexual exploitation and the arrest of her captors.
