Sunday was everything we hoped it would be and more. 💙

New faces, familiar ones, and a room full of the kind of energy that reminds you exactly why this relaunch is so impoortant. Volunteers who had never been to Break Bread before showed up with open hearts and ready hands — and by the end of the night felt like they'd always been part of the family. One of them said it best: "I really love this. This is really great."

There is nothing quite like watching someone experience Break Bread for the first time.

This is just the beginning. We can't wait to see you — every Sunday from 4:00–6:00 PM at East Community Center in Littleton. 🍽️

It's almost time to eat together again!
These past two weeks have brought some amazing moments. We've had 4 volunteer training sessions and 15 volunteers put in over 50 hours — washing over 100 sets of dishes, helping organize the kitchen, and more. We've also received countless emails, messages, and calls asking for details about the meal. Today at our to-go meal pickup, I smiled overhearing neighbors excitedly talking to neighbors about the return of the meals — things like "save me a seat!" and "oh, you've never been? You gotta go, it's a great time."

We've gotten so many questions lately about how you can help now that we're resuming in-person meals.

Become a Nourishment Ally. One of our biggest ongoing needs is sustained funding. Could I ask you to join our monthly donor program? Even $20 a month makes a real difference — if 100 people give $20 a month, that's significant, sustained support that helps us keep these dinners going week after week. And if a monthly commitment isn't in your capacity right now, one-time donations go into that same pot and are just as appreciated.

The moment we've been waiting for is finally here. 💙 Break Bread is resuming weekly in-person community meals starting Sunday, August 30th! Join us every Sunday from 4:00–6:00 PM at East Community Center for a real, sit-down, shared meal with your neighbors. This only happened because of YOU — our volunteers, donors, board members, and everyone who cheered us on from afar. Whether you come to dine, volunteer, or root us on — we cannot wait to see you. 🍽️
