Orphanage Highlight: The Day She Finally Felt Seen 💚

We’re sharing the story of a 9-year-old girl who arrived at a partner orphanage after losing both parents and years of neglect and quiet suffering. When she came, she was dangerously underweight, and she could barely read or write at all. She moved through the room like she was trying not to be noticed. Now, with steady meals, routine, daily tutoring, and consistent loving care, she’s gaining strength—and catching up step by step.

And recently, she experienced something many of us take for granted—her first-ever birthday celebration. A small cake, a candle, and people gathered around her just for her. It was simple. And it meant everything.

Hope in Action: a laptop delivered this winter in Ukraine. 💚
Thanks to the generosity of Nova Spark supporters, we were able to deliver a much-needed Windows laptop to children at the Yatsenko orphanage—expanding opportunities for schoolwork, typing, and digital learning.

Phones and tablets remain a meaningful part of our support and one of the most practical ways we can help at scale. A laptop is a rarer gift for a growing organization like ours, and it adds capabilities that are harder to achieve on smaller devices—especially for typing, longer assignments, and more advanced learning tools.

Because of your generous donations, we were able to order a voltage stabilizer today for an orphanage in Ukraine! With the power grid being so unstable, these stabilizers help protect critical appliances like refrigerators and washing machines, ensuring the children have a safe and stable environment.

Here’s a heartfelt message from the orphanage:

📢 Безмежна вдячність і низький уклін всім небайдужим людям за допомогу у придбанні стабілізатора напруги для нашої родини. Це дуже важлива і цінна підтримка! Ваша допомога надихає нас не здаватися і робити все можливе, щоб покращити життя наших дітей!

💙 “Endless gratitude and deep respect to all the kind-hearted people who helped us purchase a voltage stabilizer for our family. This is such an important and valuable support! Your help inspires us not to give up and to do everything possible to improve our children’s lives!”

But we still need urgent help—two more orphanages are struggling without stabilizers, and their heaters and essential appliances aren’t working. We need $2,316 to get them the help they desperately need.
