The NILMDTS Medical Affiliate Program empowers nurses, social workers, and other care providers to offer remembrance photography when a volunteer photographer is not available. With training and support, you can help ensure no family misses the chance to honor their baby’s life.

"Losing a baby is a heartbreak that no family should have to experience. While nothing can take away the pain of losing Maddie, having professional remembrance photography has given our family a way to preserve the memories of the time we had with her.

Those photographs are more than pictures. They are memories of our daughter, reminders of how deeply she was loved, and a way for her sisters to know that she will always be a part of our family."

Maddie's family shares the impact that NILMDTS had on creating memories with the short time they had her. Capturing those precious moments, making them permanent reminders of their love for her and all of who she was. Volunteers do more than just take photos, they give a priceless gift.

A volunteer said yes. They said yes to an interruption in their day. To drop everything and head to the hospital to capture these memories. The memories of a big brother meeting his little brother. Of a dad holding his second son. Of a mom smiling as she starts capturing all the moments that are happening before her to embed into her memory. All it took was someone saying yes to be there in this moment and now a family can forever remember their time with their son Benjamin.

Happy 7 years to our Manager of Family Services! Lisa's journey with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep is rooted in love, loss, and an unwavering commitment to families. 🤍

After the loss of her last three babies, Lisa found her way to NILMDTS as a volunteer. What began in 2014 grew into years of service as a photographer, Digital Retouch Artist, and advocate for families in their most tender moments. Today, she continues to serve families in Texas while being an integral part of our staff.

Thank you Lisa for our dedication to NILMDTS, we would be lost without you!
