Somewhere along the way, we forgot that disagreement doesn’t have to turn into disrespect.

We don’t have to think alike, vote alike, parent alike, worship alike, or live alike to treat each other with kindness.

The world has enough anger. Enough division. Enough people looking for reasons to tear each other down.

Choose kindness anyway.

Because at the end of the day, every person you meet is carrying a story you know nothing about.

💜 Be kind.
🩵 Be respectful.
💜 Remember that people matter.

Hope is a funny thing.

It doesn’t always show up when life is calm and everything is going right.

Sometimes hope shows up in the middle of the storm.

When your heart is breaking.
When you’re exhausted.
When you’re carrying grief, anxiety, disappointment, or questions that don’t seem to have answers.

Hope doesn’t always promise that tomorrow will be easy.

It simply whispers, “Keep going.”

I’ve learned that some of the hardest seasons of my life were also the seasons where hope carried me the furthest. Not because I could see the outcome, but because I chose to believe there was still purpose beyond the pain.

If you’re in a storm right now, maybe hope feels distant. Maybe all you can see are the waves.

But there is more than what you can see today.

More healing.
More laughter.
More purpose.
More people who care about you than you realize.

Keep holding on.

The storm you’re standing in today will not last forever.

Over the last few weeks, we've been leaving some of the "You Matter" bracelets and cards that our friends at You Matter, Inc kindly sent us in random places around town for people to find.

Two simple words: You Matter.💜🩵

You never know what someone is carrying, what battle they're fighting, or how badly they might need to hear those words at just the right moment.

The right message at the right time can change someone's entire day or even save a life. You never know the impact a small gesture, a simple conversation, or two powerful words can make.

We rise by lifting others.🤝

One thing I’ve learned the hard way…

Some people spend their time tearing others down, picking apart every decision, gossiping, and looking for faults.

Others spend their time talking about ways to help people, new ideas, serving their community, building something meaningful, and becoming better than they were yesterday.

The people around you influence more than you realize.

If every conversation is filled with negativity, drama, jealousy, and criticism, eventually it starts affecting how you think too.

I’d rather sit at a table where people are discussing how to help someone who is hurting, how to make a difference, how to grow, and how to leave the world a little better than they found it.

Life is too short to spend it tearing other people apart.

Find the people who inspire you to be kinder, stronger, wiser, and more compassionate.

Those are your people. 💜🩵

The words you speak become the house you live in.

Think about that for a minute.

If every day we tell ourselves we’re not enough, that nobody cares, that we’ll never get through this, eventually those words start to feel like walls closing in around us.

But the opposite is true, too.

When we speak hope, grace, truth, and encouragement - even on the days we don’t fully believe it yet - we begin building a different place to live.

Be careful with the words you speak to others.

Be even more careful with the words you speak to yourself.

Your mind is listening.

You Matter, Inc. will be bringing the YOU MATTER TRAILER to the Charity Car Show on Saturday, June 6, 2026!

We’ll have our mental health awareness apparel, wristbands, yard signs, stickers, and more as we continue spreading hope, starting conversations, and reminding people that it’s not weak to speak.

If you’re attending the show, be sure to stop by, say hello, and check out all the amazing cars while supporting a great cause. Every purchase helps us continue providing support, resources, and care packages to individuals and families impacted by mental health struggles and su***de loss.
