I absolutely LOVE when the kids stop in just to say hi! 💜🩵

And of course, they can’t leave without grabbing more You Matter wristbands to take back and pass out in other states!

Something so small can make such a BIG difference. You never know whose wrist that little reminder will end up on or who needed to hear those two simple words.

You just never know what wearing a You Matter shirt might bring. 🩵💜

While visiting Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, this sweet lady stopped me and asked if she could take a picture of the back of my shirt because of the information on it.

Come to find out, she works for the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline in GERMANY! 🇩🇪

Seriously, what are the chances?! 🥹

Here we are, thousands of miles from home, visiting Pearl Harbor, and our paths cross with someone from Germany who shares the same passion for helping others.

THIS is why we do what we do!

Sometimes it’s not about selling a shirt. It’s about the conversations that shirt starts, the people it connects, and the message it carries.

From little old Lima, Ohio, to Hawaii, making connections all the way to Germany!

You just never know who might need to see those two little words. YOU MATTER. 🩵💜

A little kindness and grace go a long way. 🤍

We have some amazing volunteers stepping up to keep our shop running while I’m away. They’re giving their time, learning as they go, and doing their very best.

They may not know every little detail, but they certainly deserve patience, understanding, and respect.

It costs absolutely nothing to be kind. Especially to those who are simply trying to do something good.

And remember, kindness is more than putting a smile on your face. It’s how you treat people when things don’t go exactly the way you want them to.

A little patience. A little understanding. A little grace.

Be kind. Not just when it’s convenient. 🤍

Our You Matter message made its way to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota!! 🇺🇸

I absolutely LOVE seeing our shirts being worn, but there’s something extra special about seeing kids wearing them.

This is why we do what we do. 🥰

Because I truly believe we can never start too young reminding our kids that they matter. That they are loved. That their feelings matter. And that it’s okay to talk about the hard things.

And you just never know who might walk by, read those two little words on a shirt, and need that reminder that day.

It’s so much more than just a shirt. It’s a message I pray continues to reach people wherever life takes them.

🌺☀️🌊 IT’S WEDDING WEEK!!! 💍🤍

Our daughter Lori is getting MARRIED!!! 🥹🤍

While we are off soaking up the sunshine, ocean waves, and all the wedding festivities, some pretty amazing girls will be keeping You Matter running!

These girls aren’t just helping at the shop. They’re volunteers who give their time, their hearts, and so much love to what we do. I am beyond thankful for each of them! 🩷

SHOP HOURS THIS WEEK:

💜 Tuesday – Thursday: 12–6 PM
🩵 Friday: 12–5 PM
💜 Saturday: 10 AM–2 PM

PLEASE NOTE: The shop will be closed daily from 2–3 PM unless our OPEN sign is on! There will also be a note on the door with any updates.

I have one little favor to ask while I’m away. 🩷

If you stop by the shop this week, please give these sweet girls a little extra grace, patience, and encouragement. They’re generously giving their time to keep our doors open and our mission going while I get to enjoy such a special moment with my family.

They have such big hearts, and I hope they feel just as much love and kindness from our community as they pour into this place every day. A smile, a kind word, or a simple thank-you would mean the world to them (and to me)! 🥹💕

Thank you for loving on our little nonprofit, supporting these wonderful girls, and giving me the chance to unplug for a bit and just be MOM. 🤍
