Being part of the Junior Service League children’s literacy committee is truly one of the most rewarding experiences. There is nothing quite like placing a book in a child's hands and watching their face light up with excitement and joy.

Those moments —the smiles, the curiosity, the pure happiness—remind us why this work matters so much. It fills all of us with gratitude and a deep sense of purpose.

I’m incredibly thankful to be part of a group that is so passionate about making a difference, one book at a time. 💙
