📚 School is back in session… looking for a way to give back? ❤️

Lima Junior Service League is looking for new members!

Join a great group of women who volunteer, have fun and raise money to help put books into the hands of local kiddos! 📚

You don’t need a ton of extra time or need to know someone in the group. Just a heart for giving back to our community. ❤️

Interested? Send us a message. We’d love to have you!

Not every child has a bookshelf at home… but today, they got to choose a book that’s theirs forever ❤️📚

Watching their faces light up as they picked “the one” is something we’ll never take for granted.

This is why the Lima Junior Service League shows up.

To our sponsors, donors, and everyone who supports our raffles and fundraisers—THANK YOU. You’re the reason these moments happen and why we’re able to put books into the hands of local kids.

Right now, we provide one book distribution each year to Lima City Schools K–2 students. But we know the need is bigger. Our goal is to grow our group so we can reach more schools—or even bring back two distributions each year.

If you’ve ever thought about joining something meaningful, this is it.
We meet the first Tuesday of the month (Sept–May) at 7:30 pm for about an hour.

More members = more kids with books ❤️

💙📚 So Grateful for This Committee 📚💙

Being part of the Junior Service League children’s literacy committee is truly one of the most rewarding experiences. There is nothing quite like placing a book in a child's hands and watching their face light up with excitement and joy.

Those moments —the smiles, the curiosity, the pure happiness—remind us why this work matters so much. It fills all of us with gratitude and a deep sense of purpose.

I’m incredibly thankful to be part of a group that is so passionate about making a difference, one book at a time. 💙
