🏈 Tunnel Fund Update — Sponsors, We Need You by Friday! 🏈

Thank you to everyone who has already stepped up to sponsor our Shawnee football tunnel! We're getting close, and we want to make sure we can get this project moving without delay. We have created 3 levels of sponsorship!

Sponsorship Levels:
🥉 $250— Bronze Sponsor
🥈 $500— Silver Sponsor
🥇 $1,000 — Gold Sponsor

As a thank-you, all sponsors will have their name announced at our games and featured on our social media pages!

❤️🖤 Shawnee Football Family — Let's Talk About the Tunnel🖤❤️

We've gotten some questions about our raffle to raise funds for a team tunnel, especially alongside talk about the football field. We want to be transparent with our community:

First, it's important to know that the Shawnee Football Parent Association and the school system are two separate entities. The school does not pay for the field, and it does not raise money for it either — that responsibility falls on the Football Parent Association, alongside the Youth program and the generosity of grateful donors in our community. Each program contributes $5,000 a year, and our 2026 payment has already been made. That obligation is covered.
On top of that, the Football Parent Association has directed a Purse Bingo fundraiser, with every dollar raised going straight toward field payments. To date, that event alone has brought in around $70,000 for the field.

The tunnel is something different. Over the past few years, our contributions to the boys have mostly gone toward team meals and field costs — necessary things, but not much that builds excitement or pride. With three head coaches in four years, our program has been through a lot of change, and we believe it's time to invest in team morale and culture, not just logistics.

A tunnel might seem like a small thing, but for these young men, running out onto that field together, in front of their community, can mean everything. Sometimes lifting a team's spirit is just as important as paying a bill — and we don't think it has to be one or the other.

We're raising these funds through a raffle, and we'd love your support. Whether or not you can donate, thank you for caring enough about our boys to ask questions — it shows how much this community loves Shawnee football.

Let's give these kids something to run through and be proud of. 🏈
