Oh my…how to make a grown man cry…

I had to step outside of the tournament for a moment and collect myself…

Anyone in AZ seeing this picture knows that this man is Mr. Joseph Herring, long time staple of AZ bowling and the man responsible for all the pictures you see of our Arizona tournaments. He is probably one of the most kind, gentle people you will ever meet.

Well, add generosity to his long list of attributes. Mr. Joseph presented to me a very, VERY generous check to the Smith Family Bowling Scholarship Foundation this morning. With it, we are going to continue our mission…impact the lives of our Youth bowlers.

Thank you sir, God bless you for everything you do and the contributions you continue to make to our beloved sport. We love you, sir. 🤟🎳

Thank you to everyone who submitted their essays for the Bob Smith Memorial Scholarship. The entry window is now closed.

I will be sending the packets to the selection committee soon, and will announce our winner(s) in the coming months.

On behalf of the foundation, let me (as always) express our deepest gratitude for each and every one of you for making all of this (and let’s be real..making US) possible.

What are you doing February 28th? Well, if your answer isn't supporting the Smith Family Bowling Scholarship Foundation in their annual Norada Scotch Mixed Doubles Fundraiser...well, then you're not one of the cool kids...
That's right, it's back! Come see the thrills, chills, and (hopefully no) spills as everyone has a great time raising funds and having fun!
As always, the Norada Lanes staff will keep the beer cold and the food hot while DJ Phil Austin kicks out the jams!
Ball raffle, 50/50, all sorts of fun door prizes and MUCH, MUCH MORE!!!

As my family sits and reflects on the anniversary of Dads passing, I take a moment to say…what better way to help us honor him than to make the Bob Smith Memorial Scholarship mean something to you or a loved one.

We were so blessed to have been able to create this while he was still with us. Now in memory, it will continue…

Bowlers, coaches, counselors, parents, everyone…whst better way for a Youth Bowler to spend their Christmas break than writing their essays? 🤨

The scholarship money for the Smith scholarship shootout earlier this month is now in the smart accounts! You should see a notification here today or tomorrow once the funding gets processed, and you should be good to go!
