πŸ’œ Coming Together for Overdose Awareness

Last night, our community came together for the Allen County Drug Overdose Awareness Event to remember those we have lost, honor those whose lives have been impacted by substance use and overdose, and stand together in support of recovery, hope, and healing.

Events like this remind us that behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a story. We are grateful to everyone who attended, shared their experiences, offered support, and helped bring awareness to this important issue.

Thank you to all of the community partners, organizations, volunteers, and individuals who helped make this event possible. πŸ’œ

Together, we remember. Together, we support. Together, we can make a difference.

🏈 Prevention is taking the field!

This September, we're passing along more than footballs! Special footballs featuring Overdose Awareness and Problem Gambling prevention messages will be making their way into the stands at three local high school football games.

Keep an eye out for the special footballs β€” and pass the message along!

Because prevention is a team sport. 🏈

All Hands on Deck!

Our PASS team was all hands on deck this week, packing hygiene bags and stress kits to support our community! πŸ’œ

Some of these hygiene bags will be distributed to students at local colleges during their orientation weeks, helping students start the school year with a few essentials and a reminder that their well-being matters.

We’re also preparing hygiene bags and stress kits to share at the Allen County Drug Overdose Awareness Event on Thursday, August 27, from 4–7 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Civic Center.

This event is FREE and open to the public, and we hope you’ll join us as our community comes together to remember, raise awareness, support one another, and work toward preventing overdose deaths.

A big thank-you to our PASS staff for pitching in and getting these bags ready! πŸ’œ
