Who we are:
The Downtown Lexington Management District is a property tax improvement district responsible for improving the downtown area. The District is managed by a 15-member board composed of local business owners, residents and other downtown stakeholders. Board Meetings are open to the public, and are usually held the first Wednesday of every month at 8:30 am at 201 East Main Street, 9th Flo
or. What we do:
The District puts tax dollars to work to enhance downtown through beautification, safety and marketing efforts. The goal is to foster economic growth, renew interest in the area by businesses, residents and visitors, and ultimately increase property values. The District responds to street service requests, provides grants for projects within the district, executes a marketing strategy, and holds public meetings with property owners. Further information can be found at dlex.town, along with district maps, meeting minutes and more.
