This year we are trying something new to recognize the coaches for LAUSBCA Youth. 🎳

⭐️ We would like to give the opportunity for the youth bowling community to nominate a coach of their choosing for a coaches award. This award will be presented to the selected coach at the awards banquet in May.

🌟 All answers are only seen by us and will not be shared.

‼️ This is open to all youth bowlers, parents, family and youth bowling community members.

A huge thank you for such an amazing turn out tonight! Glow bowl is still happening, waiting on final numbers, but it was a packed house at Just-In-Time Recreation. Thank you everyone and a huge shout out to the staff at the alley for managing everything with amazing service, as always! Thank you Jamie Jordan Joanna Stokinger Tessah Kristie for all of your help tonight and Amy Bellemore Bushway for taking the mic duties 🎤 Mallory Clark - PWBA for the donations as well as Nicole Bedard of Wicked Weavin for the basket for raffle & Lost Valley Brewing Company for the donated gift card! 💜 Scott Montminy donated his proceeds back from the 50/50 raffle to the foundation, thank you Scott!

📣 EVENT UPDATE – GLOW BOWL 80s NIGHT
Due to illness within our organizing team, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Glow Bowl 80s Night Fundraiser that was scheduled for Saturday, January 17 at Just-In-Time Recreation.

We are actively working with the bowling alley to secure a new date, and all details will be shared as soon as they are finalized.

🎳 The Bob & Lucy Violette Bowling Foundation Youth Scholarship applications are open 🎳

The Bob & Lucy Violette Bowling Foundation was created to honor the memory of Bob and Lucy Violette—a beloved youth bowling coach and lifelong supporters of the bowling community—whose lives were tragically taken on October 25, 2023, at the bowling alley they cherished.

In their spirit of generosity, mentorship, and love for youth bowling, the Foundation is committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to bowl, regardless of financial circumstances.

⭐️ Scholarship Purpose ⭐️
This scholarship provides financial support for youth bowlers who may need assistance covering bowling session fees (Fall, Winter, and Spring).

⭐️ How It Works ⭐️
* Scholarships are awarded by application only.
* For approved applicants, the Foundation will cover ½ of the session fee upfront.
* If the bowler attends each week of the session, the Foundation will cover the remaining ½ of the cost, completing full payment of the session.

⭐️Eligibility⭐️
* Open to youth bowlers
* Commitment to attending all weekly bowling sessions is required to receive the full scholarship.
