Just wanted to provide an update that Tyler Ahrens has agreed to serving as the alumni for the pinning ceremony. Once we get the time and date finalized, we will send out another update with that information in case anyone else would like to attend.

We are seeking a volunteer alumnus member with availability to attend and oversee the pinning ceremony for this semester. I have spoken with Brandon, the President, and he can make most weekday evenings or weekends work for having this event. There are two individuals who need to be pinned so they can start the education program. Please reach out to me if you can be in the Orono area in the near future to oversee the pinning ceremony, and the undergraduates will happily plan the event around your availability.

"George is so forgetful," the sales manager complained to his secretary. "It's a wonder he can sell anything. I asked him to pick me up some sandwiches on his way back from lunch but I'm not sure he'll even remember to come back."

Just then the door flew open and in bounced George. "You'll never guess what happened!" he shouted. "While I was at lunch, I met Old Man Brown, who hasn't bought anything from us for five years. Well, we got to talking and he gave me a half-million-dollar order!"

"See," sighed the sales manager to his secretary. "I told you he'd forget the sandwiches."

At the supermarket, a woman shopped with her four boys and a baby. Her patience was wearing thin as the boys called out, "Mommy! Mommy!" while she tried to shop.

Finally, she blurted out, "I don’t want to hear the word mommy for at least ten minutes!"

The boys fell silent for a few seconds. Then one tugged on his mother’s dress and said softly, "Excuse me, miss."

I was driving home from work when I was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt. Three days later, I got the same ticket, at the same stop, from the same cop.

“So, have you learned anything?” asked the cop.

“Yes, I have,” I began. “I’ve learned it's time to find a new way home from work.”
