Today the Lehi RC Club has officially reached 200 members! We want to thank all who have helped make this club special. Each of you enriches our community, and we are grateful for all you have done. Whether you are just getting started, or a seasoned RC pro, the Lehi RC Club is YOUR club! We are proud to serve the RC community, and look forward to our next milestone.

LET'S GO RACING!

Are you ready for some RC fun!? The LRCC will be announcing the mini-z race at Peak Hobbies this weekend, running on the club track and timing system. We are excited to get a little competitive, so bring the heat!

If you are a beginner or (even a little) interested, please drop in and check it out. Mini-z racing is a great way to connect, unwind, and explore something new.

The Lehi RC Club Underground has a major new addition: ALL SCALE NATURAL ROCK CRAWLING COURSE!

Justin Berndt has outdone himself by putting in an incredible amount of physically demanding work, hauling rock and placing stone. Along the way he has been helped by several fantastic club members. One stands out who went above and beyond. Bobby Thurman.

We want to thank Bobby for his hard work. Our sponsor, Peak Hobbies, agreed. Peak donated one of the fantastic new Redcat Ascent-32 V2 crawlers. We were very glad to award Bobby this truck as a thank you for his contribution.

Come check out Justin's incredible course this Friday, 8:30pm (652 Woods Circle, Lehi) and learn about what we are planning. Along the way, get over to Peak Hobbies and check out their line-up of crawlers. We really appreciate their sponsorship and community support.

We had a fantastic time this weekend! First, the Underground is getting a major upgrade as Justin is building a multi-scale rock crawling course. It is incredible. Then we met new friends and old at Peak Hobbies for Mini-z racing. Watching some of the younger racers own the track was genuinely exciting. We hope to see you this week!

What a night! Thank you for showing up for our first NASCAR carpet race. We saw lots of new faces (along with many good friends). Big thanks to our sponsors: Peak Hobbies and Team Associated. Of course, we couldn't do this without the generous support of our LRCC Underground donors. We really appreciate your passion and community spirit.

See you Friday, July 31st. 8:30pm, 652 Woods Circle, Lehi. Bring NASCARs and help celebrate Justin’s birthday. This is a seriously fun format. We will have cold drinks for people to stay cool, and prizes!

LET'S GO RACING!

WHEN: July 31st, 8:30PM
WHERE: 652 Woods Circle, Lehi (LRCC clubhouse)
COST: 100% FREE EVENT (just show up!)

Everyone is invited to come join us for the latest NASCAR format from the LRCC: On-road carpet! We've been experimenting with this format and are ready to hold a bigger race. It is also Justin's birthday, so come ready to party! I'm sure he won't mind if you happened to bring something (hint).

Format details:
- We are organizing by throttle percentage. We've discovered that at 50% throttle the track is a ton of fun as the NASCARs drift around corners. It is a blast!
- Next class will be 75% throttle & pro stock drivers (you can run both classes with a flick of the switch). This is a more precision class and gets intense managing throttle and momentum. A great option for our more experienced racers.
- We may try some other experimental formats, so show up and check out what we have going on.

SPECIAL THANKS TO CLUB SPONSOR: Team Associated

We want to express our gratitude to Team Associated for sponsoring the Lehi RC Club Underground. They have given us several items for club use, plus a cool sign to feature at the track. Our resident 28th scale expert Doug Waite has offered to assemble the RC28R kit to his high-standards. The LRCC will be supplying the electronics. This car will eventually be available for checkout via the RC Library (available to Underground donors) and can be used at various Mini-Z tracks around the state.
