⚠️ Safety Alert: Avoid Dry Creek Park! ⚠️

📢 NOTICE: Dry Creek Park is closed due to high water. Use of the pavilions will not be permitted at this time. If you have booked the pavilion please contact the Information Center (385.201.1000) to reschedule or to receive a refund.

The water in the Dry Creek fluctuates on a daily basis due to the amount of snowmelt, temperature, and collected debris. As the temperatures rise, we are seeing increased activity among kids and adults who put themselves in harm's way. We ask that for the safety of your family and pets, you continue to stay away from and out of the water at the Dry Creek, Lehi Elementary School, ditches, and canals. Please follow the signs and stay away from high-risk areas.

City update. Water levels will be very high tomorrow. Exercise extreme caution, and stay safe everyone!

The levels at the Dry Creek Reservoir have been rising for the last couple of days, likely accelerated by the recent rain. We expect to see some water spill over throughout the night. Our crews will be actively monitoring the Dry Creek, the waste ditch, and the reservoir throughout the night. We expect that most of the impact will be at Lehi Elementary. Our crews and our residents have prepared well for runoff. You can expect to see high water throughout the night. If you see an immenent risk to your property, call our on call number 801-836-1045. Call 911 for emergencies.

Keep a watchful eye on waterways near you, especially as temperature continue to rise.

Flood Update: Higher water flows this week due to warmer temperatures.

💧 40" gate at the new dam was slightly opened Monday afternoon to release water at a controlled rate to minimize the likelihood of flooding.
💧 Lehi on-call operators will continue to check grates on the Dry Creek through town and keep debris from blocking the crossing.
💧 For your safety stay away and out of creeks and ditches. The water moves quickly and can be dangerous. Keep children and pets away from the creek and ditches as well.
