What a way to kick off soccer season (and yes, it called for matching shirts)! ⚽🏆

We had a blast joining our fellow Johnson County Chamber teams for the Chamber of Champions Cup, hosted by the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce. From co****le and soccer challenges to trivia that got just a *little* competitive, it was an afternoon full of laughs, camaraderie, and community spirit.

Thank you to the OP Chamber for organizing such a fun event, and to our fellow Chamber staffers for the friendly rivalry. With the tournament underway, Team USA taking the pitch tonight, and Kansas City in the global spotlight as a host city, the excitement is only just beginning. 🇺🇸⚽

Yesterday, Chamber members, community partners, and friends gathered to celebrate this exciting next chapter, which includes a dedicated training room, team growth, and the addition of “Betty’s Place”, a special space named in honor of the owner’s grandmother that serves as a reminder of the compassion and dignity at the heart of their work.

Congratulations to the Parkinson’s Exercise & Wellness Center on the grand opening of their expanded Leawood facility! 🎉✂️

We were honored to join community leaders, including Mayor Marc Elkins and members of the Leawood City Council, in celebrating this exciting milestone. Through specialized exercise programs, education, and support, the PEWC continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals living with Parkinson’s disease and their families throughout our region.

If you missed today’s Ribbon Cutting, there’s another opportunity to visit! Join the PEWC for their 2nd Annual Open House & Picnic this Sunday, June 7, from 1-4pm at their new facility. It’s a wonderful chance to learn more about their mission, meet the team, and see firsthand the impact they’re making in our community.

Ground has officially been broken on Lockton's future global headquarters in Leawood!

The project is the centerpiece of Hallbrook North, a 34-acre mixed-use development planned for the northwest corner of College Boulevard and State Line Road. The development will feature corporate offices, residential living, retail, restaurants, a hotel, and public spaces designed to create a vibrant, walkable destination.

Lockton's new 12-story headquarters will serve as a home for one of Kansas City's most successful global companies and represents a significant investment in Leawood's future.
