Hello, October! 🍂☕ A little rain made for an extra cozy start to the month at Hilton Garden Inn’s annual Morning Mingling!

A delicious breakfast spread, bottomless coffee, door prizes and plenty of connections made it easy to see why this event is always a member favorite. Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought the sunshine indoors!

Company culture starts long before an employee’s first day, and grows through the example leaders set every day. 💭

Yesterday’s “Cultivating Company Culture” panel covered clear communication, setting standards from the first interview, leading by example and showing employees appreciation. So many valuable perspectives in one room!

A big “thank you” to Becca Stout, Dawn Frey, Julie Anderson and Mike French for sharing their insights; Joe Whetstone for guiding the conversation; OMNI Human Resource Solutions for hosting and sponsoring; and everyone who joined us with thoughtful questions! 👏

Join the next event within our Leawood Business Series on October 29 from 3:30-5pm. Learn more at leawoodchamber.org!
