Join us for an inspiring evening exploring how our faith calls us to respond to immigration and migration with compassion, justice, and hospitality.

Across scripture and throughout history, people of faith have been called to welcome the stranger, care for the vulnerable, and walk alongside those seeking safety and opportunity. This event will explore how faith communities can live out this calling today.

We are also honored to welcome a special guest speaker who will share insights on the connection between faith and migration, as well as the real-life experiences and challenges facing immigrants and refugees today.

Whether you are new to immigration ministry or already involved, this gathering will help you learn, connect, and discover ways to support immigrants and refugees in our community.

At this event you will:

Reflect on the connection between faith and migration

Learn how churches can engage in immigration ministry and advocacy

Meet local community organizations serving immigrants and refugees

Discover practical ways to get involved

Build relationships with others who care about welcoming newcomers

This is an opportunity to listen, learn, and connect with people and organizations who are making a difference locally.

John is one of our Resurrection Brookside at Historic Central members who helps with our meal ministry. He not only volunteers in the kitchen, but also in the community, serving so many others. Tom is one of our amazing volunteers from the Men's Group at Resurrection Brookside at Historic Central. Once a month, this group prepares and serves a hot meal to approximately 300 people who are experiencing food insecurity and unstable housing.
