For Mya Dzierzawski, personalized learning helped turn passion into possibility.

Through Michigan Online School, Mya found the flexibility to balance academics with elite ballet training — allowing her to pursue both excellence in the classroom and her dream of a professional dance career. This fall, she will continue dancing with BalletMet while taking college courses through Oakland University.

For Caeleb Varney, high school became the start of a career.

Through the Tri-County Trades Lineman Program at State Street Academy, Caeleb gained hands-on training, industry certifications, and a direct path into the electrical trade. Now, the Freeland High School senior is graduating with the skills to begin a career as a lineman right out of high school.

For Kaden Klooster, Grand Traverse Academy was a place to grow, compete, and discover his future.

From band performances and basketball milestones to dual enrollment opportunities, Kaden explored his passions and built strong connections along the way. This fall, the Grand Traverse Academy senior will attend Northwestern Michigan College to pursue Audio Tech and continue exploring his passion for music and sound production.

For Mollie Ettawageshik, Grand Traverse Academy was more than a school — it was a place to grow, lead, and discover her future.

From theater performances and student leadership to hands-on classroom experience through the Teacher Academy program, Mollie found her passion for teaching and built the confidence to pursue it. This fall, the Grand Traverse Academy senior will attend the University of Michigan to study elementary education and theater.

Ever since he was five, Jadon DeGroot dreamed of flying — and at West Michigan Aviation Academy, he got a head start.

Through hands-on aviation experiences and strong mentorship, Jadon grew as a student and leader while pursuing his passion for flight. This fall, the WMAA senior will attend Liberty University and participate in Air Force ROTC as he works toward his goal of becoming an Air Force pilot.
