We had a fantastic weekend at the Novi Pet Expo!!! 9 cats found amazing new furever families!!!! We also got to talk to so many fun and amazing people throughout the weeken, as well as sell some items from our amazing volunteers for fundraising! 💝 Now it's time for our volunteers to rest up for a few days after working so hard over the weekend ☺️

Meet Merlin! 🖤

Merlin is a handsome black, medium-haired gentleman with soulful eyes and a quiet strength that tells the story of a life well lived. Found outside as a stray with painfully injured paw pads, Merlin has left the hardships of street life behind and is now ready to find the loving forever home he deserves.

We believe Merlin is an older boy, and he's embraced the finer things in life—soft beds, gentle pets, and the comfort of being safe indoors. He's a sweet, laid-back companion who would love a peaceful home where he can relax and enjoy his golden years.

Merlin loves going for walks with his leash and harness, he would easily love to be a kitty who goes on a walk here and there to keep a taste of that outdoor life. We dont believe it would be safe for him to roam outside alone though.

Merlin is FIV-positive, but don't let that discourage you! Cats with FIV can live long, happy, healthy lives. FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds from serious fighting, so Merlin can safely live with other friendly, non-aggressive cats who get along well with him.

Merlin could adjust to older children, and other cats but he does NOT like dogs. If you happen to have an older dog who doesnt show interest in cats he may adjust well.

After everything he's been through, Merlin is ready for a family that will give him the love, comfort, and security he's always deserved. If you have room in your heart for a resilient, affectionate senior gentleman, Merlin is waiting to cast his spell on you.

We’re throwing out a little challenge today for Against All Odds Cat Rescue! ❤️

Rescue never really stops. While our cats are waiting for their forever families, we’re constantly buying food, litter, medications, supplies, and taking care of vet bills for the cats who need us.

So today, we’re asking our amazing supporters to help us fill the rescue fund! 🐱💰

💔 HOW IS JASMINE STILL WAITING?! 💔

Jasmine is about 5 months old, and somehow, this beautiful girl has become the longest-waiting foster kitten we have. We truly don’t understand how she keeps getting overlooked! 😿

Jasmine is the sweetest little tabby who LOVES other cats. ❤️ In fact, we really think she needs a home with at least one other kitty to keep her company. She loves having feline friends to play with, cuddle with, and hang out with.

She’s also great with kids and doesn’t mind dogs, making her an all-around wonderful addition to a family. She’s pretty much got everything going for her… she just needs someone to finally choose her. 🥹❤️

✨ Jasmine is:
🐾 About 5 months old
🐾 Spayed
🐾 Up to date on age-appropriate vaccines
🐾 Litter trained
🐾 Flea free
🐾 Dewormed
🐾 Microchipped
🐾 Loves other cats
🐾 Good with kids
🐾 Does well with dogs

And then there’s Peco, pictured here with Jasmine. 🥹

Peco is also looking for his forever home. He’s still learning that humans aren’t so bad, and he’s definitely more cautious than Jasmine. But he took a liking to her almost instantly. She seems to give him confidence, and they’ve become quite the little duo. ❤️

We would absolutely LOVE for Jasmine and Peco to find a home together, but it’s not required. Jasmine does need another kitty companion in her forever home, while Peco would simply be extra lucky if his forever family happened to include his new best friend. 🐱🐱

💕🐾 MOANA & MERIDA ARE LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER FAMILY! 🐾💕

These two absolutely gorgeous tabico sisters are two peas in a pod and would LOVE to find a home together! 🥹💗

Moana & Merida are both about 3 months old and are the perfect combination of playful and cuddly. These girls PLAY LIKE CRAZY together when they’re feeling frisky, then happily curl up together for naps and cuddle time when it’s time to relax. 😴💕

Merida can be a little more selective about her kitty friends than Moana, but when it comes to her sister, there’s absolutely no question—she LOVES Moana! 🥰 They truly have a special bond, and we’d love to see them continue their lives together.
