Welcome to the 2026 CCA Louisiana STAR Tournament! The CCA Louisiana STAR (Statewide Tournament and Anglers Rodeo) is in it's 28th year of competition.

The 2022 STAR tournament begins on the Saturday, May 28th and last until Labor Day, September 5th. STAR is CCA Louisiana's largest membership drive and boasts over 13,000 participants each year. During the competition, anglers compete for over $750,000 in prizes. Since the tournament is meant to be a membership drive, it has a little something for all saltwater anglers fishing Louisiana waters. Its signature division is the Tagged Redfish Division. CCA releases 100 tagged redfish each year, if you are in the tournament and catch one, you win! STAR also has many inshore and offshore divisions with great prizes up for grabs. In addition to all of the adult divisions, STAR has a great youth division as well. New Tide Members (CCA members 17 or younger) are able to enter the tournament free of charge. Once they are registered, they can enter a trout and a flounder in four divisions across the Louisiana coast. At the end of the tournament there is a random drawing that determines the four winners of brand new boat, motor and trailer packages. If you have any questions about STAR please see our FAQ page on the website http://www.ccastar.com or call us at (225) 952-9200. Join now http://bit.ly/2jw2F78

Meet Olman Castro of Jackson, Miss., winner of the 2026 Michelob Ultra Avid Boat Raffle. We pulled his name at the BATON ROUGE CHAPTER BANQUET ft. STAR AWARDS, called him on video and got the reaction you’ll see in this reel. The next week, he picked up his new boat at Mockler Beverage Company, right after our State Board Meeting hosted there.

Thank you, Michelob ULTRA and Anheuser-Busch for putting a STAR angler behind the wheel, and thank you, Mockler Beverage Company, for always hosting us.

Your name could be next! Register for the 2027 CCA Louisiana STAR Tournament AND purchase your Ford F150 Raffle Tickets now at CCASTAR.com!
