CCA Louisiana STAR Tournament Welcome to the 2026 CCA Louisiana STAR Tournament! The CCA Louisiana STAR (Statewide Tournament and Anglers Rodeo) is in it's 28th year of competition.

The 2022 STAR tournament begins on the Saturday, May 28th and last until Labor Day, September 5th. STAR is CCA Louisiana's largest membership drive and boasts over 13,000 participants each year. During the competition, anglers compete for over $750,000 in prizes. Since the tournament is meant to be a membership drive, it has a little something for all saltwater anglers fishing Louisiana waters. It

s signature division is the Tagged Redfish Division. CCA releases 100 tagged redfish each year, if you are in the tournament and catch one, you win! STAR also has many inshore and offshore divisions with great prizes up for grabs. In addition to all of the adult divisions, STAR has a great youth division as well. New Tide Members (CCA members 17 or younger) are able to enter the tournament free of charge. Once they are registered, they can enter a trout and a flounder in four divisions across the Louisiana coast. At the end of the tournament there is a random drawing that determines the four winners of brand new boat, motor and trailer packages. Doiron’s Landing, Larry Doiron and team hit pay dirt and landed on some giant red snapper and a few real nice mangroves, last weekend in Grand Isle‼️

They also won 1st Place Offshore Swollfest 2026‼️
