What we do:
Wise Steward
CFA encourages philanthropy through the establishment of separate, named Funds. CFA is custodian of these charitable and philanthropic resources that help generous donors meet their objectives immediately and in perpetuity. This platform affords the creation of legacies for individuals, families, groups, companies, other foundations and nonprofits that can include multiple generations. Effective Leader
CFA is an effective community leader and a neutral convener and partner addressing community projects, needs, and opportunities. CFA initiates, manages, or houses civic leadership projects in south Louisiana in partnership with federal, state, and local governments, businesses, and private interests in an effort to improve our communities, region, and state. Expert Services
The Foundation provides all back-office support for all expendable and permanent Funds and projects, including investment oversight, grant-making management and competitive grant-making, planned giving, and all IRS reporting. Additionally, CFA can provide a range of professional contract services including back-office support, grant, program, and project management.
