Al Berard Memorial Music Fund, a fund of Community Foundation of Acadiana, supports community organizations who promote our rich Cajun/Creole heritage, arts, music, and French language. The Al Berard Music Festival is a fundraising event for the Al Berard Memorial Music Fund at Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA). The fund directly supports Acadianaโs unique musical culture by providing funding
for instruments, master teachers, and music scholarships to students of all ages. The fund honors the late Al Berard, who was a mentor for music lovers everywhere. His passion was to teach everyone about his love for music and the Cajun/Creole culture in which he lived. Through this fund, his passion lives on today. Al Berard Music Festival,
