Cold salads were on the menu in today’s cooking class! 🥗✨

Participants whipped up a delicious lineup of summer favorites—Greek Orzo Salad, Asian Noodle Salad, Southwestern Pasta Salad with Chicken, and Quinoa Salad. Yum!

We were also happy to welcome back our friends from North Metro Community Services- Day Program. It’s always a joy to cook, learn, and share a meal together. 💚

🍴 Cooking Class is back this Wednesday, June 10, from 11am–1:30pm!

Join us as we whip up a variety of fresh and flavorful summer salads, including Greek, Southwestern, and Asian-inspired pasta salads, and a gluten-free quinoa salad. We might even add in a few edible flowers for a colorful finishing touch! 🌸

We're also excited to welcome back our friends from North Metro Community Services- Day Program (some pictured here), who had such a great time with us last month.

We can't wait to cook, learn, and share a delicious afternoon together!

Over $15,000 raised in a single afternoon—Artists in Action, indeed! 🎨❤️

A huge thank you to this talented and generous group of artists for organizing an art sale benefiting Sister Carmen Community Center.

We’re fortunate to live in a community where creativity and compassion go hand in hand. By sharing their time, talent, and artwork, these artists are helping make a meaningful difference for local families.

Together, you turned art into action, raising more than $15,000 to support our neighbors in need. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on our community, and we are deeply grateful.

Thanks to Artists in Action, there will be a lot of great art available for a great cause this Sunday, June 7, from 2-6pm, at the Tri-City Elks Lodge #2541 in Louisville! All proceeds from the art sale will help us serve our community.

Sister Carmen Kindness Matters T-shirts will also be for sale for $25.

From 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, guests can buy original art donated by over 50 local artists.
