Imagine!

Imagine! Imagine! is a non-profit provider agency focused on empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through a variety of services.

was established in 1963 by a group of parents determined to see that their children with developmental disabilities had the opportunity to participate in their community. We continue to use that original goal as the basis for our mission. We believe in the potential of all. We believe that people with developmental disabilities have much to offer, and providing the tools and
supports that allow them to show what they have to offer benefits us all.

Last Thursday, we celebrated summer with our staff and families ☀️

Our Imagine! Summer Party—hosted by the Imagine! Culture Club—brought everyone together for an evening full of connection, laughter, and joy. From snow cones and a food truck to inflatable games, it was a night to relax, have fun, and simply be together.

The Imagine! Culture Club plays a special role in fostering a fun, welcoming, and belonging-centered workplace by creating opportunities like this to connect beyond the workday 💙

Moments like these are what make our community so special.

Adaptable, accessible technology in action 🎧✨

These individuals are exploring their creativity and building music production skills—trying out new sounds, finding their style, and learning what works for them.

At iTech, part of Imagine’s! Social Enterprise Services, Josh teaches participants how to use Ableton Live and the Ableton Push to create music in a hands-on, interactive way. Thanks to a recent grant, they also have access to new bass packs that add depth to their sound and let them truly feel the music through their headphones.

This Pride Month, we’re reflecting on what it means to create environments where people feel seen, heard, and supported to be their full selves. Inclusion happens when it’s built intentionally, through everyday actions, conversations, and decisions.

At Imagine!, human-centeredness means designing cultures where difference is not just accepted, but genuinely valued.

Where people know they belong because they are welcomed as they are.

The rainbow background featured here was painted by one of our Adult Community Service members—a reflection of the creativity, individuality, and pride that make our community stronger.

We’re committed to continuing this work, listening deeply, and creating space for everyone to thrive.
