A powerful voice for abused and neglected children in foster care within Lafayette, Acadia and Vermilion.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are community based volunteers who provide a voice for abused and neglected children. CASA advocates serve children who have been removed from their homes and placed in foster care. Judges refer the cases of child abuse and neglect to CASA so that one volunteer can be the voice for that abused or neglected child. CASA volunteers consistently conduct at least monthly in person visitation with the child. The CASA advocate's relationship with the child is based on consistency and the advocate ensures that the child is receiving the support and attention he or she needs while in foster care.

What a fun day yesterday at Little Blessings Childcare & Preschool LLC for Trunk or Treat! 🎃🍬

CASA of SoLA was excited to join Little Blessings for a day filled with creative costumes, decorated trunks, sweet treats, and plenty of smiles!

It was wonderful seeing so many families come together and watching the kids enjoy all the festivities

A huge thank you to Little Blessings for hosting a great community event and to our CASA volunteers, board members, and community partners who helped make the day special. We appreciate everyone who showed up, decorated a trunk, passed out candy, or simply came out to enjoy the fun!

Community partnerships like these remind us how much we can accomplish when we come together for children and families.❤️

The Storybook Soirée was truly a night to remember! Together, we stepped into a wonderful world filled with courageous heroes, epic performances, and community spirit—all while helping turn the page toward brighter futures for children and families across Acadiana.
