One year ago, this was our office.
An empty room. A desk waiting to be used. A whole lot of vision and not a whole lot of furniture.
Since Unfaulted began in 2019, we had worked from our home church, Fellowship of the Parks - FOTP, our dinner tables, coffee shops, libraries and really anywhere we could connect to Wi-Fi. So when we had the opportunity to rent this room through our partnership with Christ's Haven For Children, it felt like such a gift.
In the beginning, it reminded us a lot of a young adult’s first apartment. We started with what we had, which at one point meant working from a card table and slowly piecing things together as we went.
And little by little, this room became home.
Over the past year, this small office has held meetings, Study Hall, volunteer gatherings, trainings, event prep, hard conversations, big prayers, lots of planning and so much of the behind-the-scenes work that helps Unfaulted continue to grow.
We are still here in this same little room and we are still growing. What started as an empty office has become a place where ideas are formed, needs are met, people gather and the mission keeps moving forward.
It may be a small rented room, but to us, it represents provision, partnership, growth and a whole lot of answered prayers.
We are so grateful to Christ’s Haven for opening the door for us to have this space, and to every donor, volunteer, partner, prayer warrior, and friend who helped get us here and continues to support the work God is doing through Unfaulted.
One year later, we are still grateful. Still growing. Still watching God provide.
