Campus Outreach | Phang Nga, Thailand

We were invited to minister to 709 students in the south of Thailand in Phang Nga. The information we got was that the school and the students are open for the Gospel. But what welcomed our team was the never ending changes from the schedule, the curriculum that we will teach, the number of students, the days of when we will be teaching and the message that we are not allowed to preach the Good News. The team was prepared but God is in the mood for a test.

We handled at least 400 students from grade 1 to grade 12 with some of the vocational students. We shared about Dreams, Purpose, Love and Forgiveness.

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps. - Proverbs 16:9

Although we made plans, we know and believe that it was God’s ministry and so we allowed Him to move in everything that we did. True enough, we have seen the mighty move of God, the atmosphere shifted and changed. The students came to us to be prayed for and opened their hearts when we ministered and prayed for them.

The Lord knows what He is doing. As we surrender unto Him all that we will do will be done with great success.

As we talk to our local connections and hear their current situation due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in the nations of India, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar. Our leaders were moved to raise funds for our local pastors and leaders who are in need of food to feed and care for their families. Our goal is $5,000 and so far we have $1,800. We need your help so we can send to our brothers and sisters who are in need.

For two days and two nights, Selfless and GMT team went to the tribe of Kariang in Mae Jok Fah, Ngao, Thailand. This tribe has 2 believers before we came with the local pastors that has been reaching out and sharing the gospel to these people who believes and worships a “ghost”. We went house to house, gave 10 packs of food supplies to 10 families and share the good news. One woman said, whatever you share to us we will agree, but in our hearts it doesn’t make sense. For the thing they believe in they can’t even make any sense about it, they don’t even know if there is actually a ghost that they worship and afraid of.

The last night that our team was there, we prepared food for the villagers who wants to have fellowship with us. People came and went as the night passes. And throughout the night one woman got healed. A few minutes later she came back with 4 other women just like what the Samaritan woman did in John 4. She spread the news of her healing and came back with her friends that also accepted the Lord Jesus in their lives.

Some said it’s hard to share the Gospel of Jesus, but the Lords hand is not too short to work in our midst. Even a witch doctor (2nd photo) can be healed and accept his Savior. Nothing is impossible to God who is ready to rescue his people.
