Each billboard is more than an advertisement. It’s a reminder that domestic violence can affect anyone, survivors are not alone, and awareness can help connect someone to the support they need.

💜 Continuing to Use My Voice to Increase Awareness! 💜

I have an opportunity to win an iHeartRadio produced podcast and an exclusive episode of On Air with Ryan Seacrest!

But for me, this opportunity is about so much more than winning.

As a domestic violence survivor, I know what it means to find the strength to rebuild your life. Today, I use my story to advocate for others, support survivors, empower young people, and remind people that there IS life after domestic violence.

During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, I want to use this opportunity to take that message to an even bigger platform.

Imagine a podcast where survivors are heard, resources are shared, difficult conversations are had, and people across the country are reminded that their story does not have to end with what happened to them.

💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜

This month is deeply personal to me. As a survivor, I know what it means to find the strength to keep going, rebuild your life, and turn pain into purpose. I continue to share my testimony of where God has brought me because I want other survivors to know that their story does not have to end with what happened to them.

Through the Reach Back Foundation, I am committed to turning advocacy into action. Our work focuses on domestic violence awareness and advocacy, survivor resources, prevention, youth empowerment, and building stronger communities. We are partnering with schools, connecting with organizations that serve victims and survivors, providing resources in our community, and creating opportunities to educate people about domestic violence and healthy relationships.

My work through DJW Drinks is also part of that mission. Our cans help bring awareness beyond October by connecting people to domestic violence resources, and a portion of proceeds supports the Reach Back Foundation.

For me, “Reach Back” means exactly that: when you have made it through, you reach back and help someone else move forward. 💜

This October, I encourage you to learn the signs, support survivors, share resources, and be a voice for change.
