Yesterday was truly a meaningful day for the Reach Back Foundation and DJW Drinks.

I was honored to present a donation to Rose Brooks in support of domestic violence advocacy during a special gathering at Equal Minded Cafe, one of our valued retail partners in Kansas City, Missouri.

A percentage of DJW Drinks sales helps support domestic violence advocacy efforts, and being able to give back in this way is part of the mission behind everything we do. Every can represents more than a beverage it represents awareness, healing, hope, and community support.

Thank you to Kerry Schmittling, Community and Events Manager, for accepting the donation on behalf of Rose Brooks Center, and thank you to Dontavious Young, General Manager, for being present and supporting this important moment.

I also want to extend a special thank you to Equal Minded Cafe for being an advocacy partner and for continuing to support businesses and initiatives that create impact in our community.

Together, we are amplifying awareness, supporting survivors, and proving that business can truly be connected to purpose.

Got a call from Raven Jamison this month and was selected as Blue KC Gamechanger Honoree on May 15 for the KC Current match against Houston Dash!


Founded in 2024 by Blue KC and the KC Current, the Blue KC Gamechanger program recognizes an individual whose leadership inspires physical, mental, emotional, and community wellness by creating healthier environments. This can be done through healthcare, education, sport, or advocacy efforts.

During the regular season, a Blue KC Gamechanger is selected each month and honored at a KC Current home match at CPKC Stadium, joined by leadership from Blue KC and KC Current.
