KC Fringe Festival 2026 is set for July 16-26. The KC Fringe is the largest celebration of arts and culture in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

KC Fringe champions creative expression by empowering artists to produce bold and innovative work through an annual visual and performing arts festival that is accessible and affordable for all. Returning live for its 22nd season for a two-week explosion of performance, film, visual arts exhibitions, and events that showcase the work of local, national, and international artists. eer-run organization has been supporting artists, cultivating creators, and attracting adventurous audiences since 2005. 2026 dates are July 12th-26th. KC Fringe is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization.

The stage is set! KC Fringe Festival is taking over Kansas City July 16 - 26 with theater, circus, comedy, surprises, and the kind of creativity you can’t quite explain to your coworkers.

This year we’re especially excited to welcome two new Fringe venues: Kansas City Young Audiences and MOD Gallery! More spaces means more artists, more performances, and even more chances to experience something unexpected.

From Midtown to the Crossroads and beyond, Fringe artists will be popping up all across KC with art without limits.

A KC Fringe show is hitting a bigger stage.

Last summer, audiences loved Jazz: The Women Who Shaped Me, a one-woman show by vocalist Eboni Fondren honoring the legendary women of jazz. Now it’s headed to Quality Hill Playhouse for a full run, March 4–15. 🎭

What a wonderful night celebrating the artists who make KC Fringe possible.

Thank you to all of the performing and visual artists who applied to be part of the 2026 KC Fringe Festival. There were cheers, a few tears, and a whole lot of excitement as we began revealing this year’s lineup. Today we will pull the wait list.

A big thank you to Forest for including us in Story Shots and to Brian for sharing the incredible space at MOD Gallery. We’re thrilled to have MOD as one of our venues this year.
