That's a wrap on a month of programs at the International Relations Council!

This past month, the International Relations Council held three Roundtable discussions on the regions of The Americas, Southeast Asia & Oceania, and Middle East & North Africa.

In partnership with and RISE at the Kansas City Library, we held a panel discussion titled "Iran 2026: Protests, War, Power Shifts, and Global Impact".

In partnership with , we hosted KC native Emily Benson for a discussion titled "Trade, Technology, and Power", moderated by Anthony Caruso of Critical Materials Crossroads.

We held our first IRC Book Club of the year, convening a group who read Jhumpa Lahiri's "The Namesake".. AND we celebrated Kansas City teachers while connecting them to globally minded resource at Global Connections: A Teacher Resource Happy Hour.

We don't need to tell you that June 2026 in Kansas City is going to be as global as it gets!!

Congratulations to our 2024 Eliot S. Berkley Awardee, Kerav Agarwal, and our 2025 Eliot S. Berkley Awardee, Rohan Enjeti, for graduating high school! Kerav will be an incoming freshman at Cornell University, while Rohan will be starting at the University of Pennsylvania in the Fall.
